Wiles joins Triangle Volleyball Club for the 2019-2020 season with a wealth of on court experience.  Growing up playing in the sand and on the hardwoods of Virginia Beach, Coach Wiles has surrounded himself with successful volleyball. 

During his club playing days as a member of Coastal Virginia VBC, his teams finished top fifteen in USAV Jr. Boys OPEN Nationals.  At 15, Wiles competed for the 2012 USAV OPEN National championship, just falling short in the final versus The Hermosa Beach Club. Wiles added to this second place Open finish with subsequent finishes of 4th, 5th, and 11th.

Wiles was recruited to play collegiate volleyball at NCAA DIII’s Marymount University (Arlington, VA).  He was a 4-year contributor to the men’s varsity program and a fixture as an undersized attacker representing the Saints.  Wiles earned all-tournament honors at the Kean Invitational and the Hall of Fame Morgan Classic at Springfield College. 

Wiles graduated from Marymount with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion.  Currently, he is employed as a personal trainer living in Raleigh.  He is an avid outdoorsman enjoying surfing, boating and fishing along with taking on new experience through leisure travel.
