Staff Member Since:

Philpot played her 16-18 club seasons at Triangle, competing as a middle blocker on 16, 17, and 18 Black teams. Philpot helped lead both 17 Black and 18 Black to USAV Junior National's Open qualification in 2021 and 2022 respectively (2020 was cut short due to COVID-19). Philpot, along with her 17 Black teammates qualified Open in 2021 with a T3 finish at the Northeast Qualifier in Philadelphia. In 2022, Philpot and Triangle 18 Black qualified Open at SVT's Southeast 18s Qualifier in Atlanta with a T5 finish. As a standout on the D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC) varsity volleyball team, Philpot helped lead the Vikings to a NCHSAA 3A State Championship in 2020/2021 (delayed season due to COVID-19). Despite the school's move to the most competitive 4A division the following year, D.H. Conley and Philpot (now a team captain) earned a berth in the 2021 NCHSAA 4A State Quarter-Final match. Philpot earned All-Conference honors both her junior and season seasons and All-State Honorable Mention her junior season.

Philpot was first inspired to coach working with youth programming and summer camps and clinics at Triangle. She is attending NC State University and planning on studying engineering.
