Saur was raised in the Charlotte area where she began playing volleyball in middle school. She played club at CUVC for three years and completed her club career at Carolina Juniors (CJV). Upon graduation from Weddington High School, Saur attended NC State and joined the NC State Women’s Club Volleyball team. She served as the club’s Vice-President, President, captain, and coach over her four-years and was an accomplished setter. She earned First-Team All-Tournament honors at Club Nationals her freshman season at NCSU and MVP at nationals her sophomore year.

Saur has also found time to enjoy coaching at the junior level, working at both Charlotte Country Day High School and CJV summer camps.

Saur is in the process of completing her degree in Biological Engineering at NC State and will graduate in May 2020. She is currently working as a student-intern at John R. McAdams Company in their Water Resources Department. She is continuing her playing career by participating on the NCSU Outdoor Club team in Fall 2019.
