Brian Bacchi

Bacchi joined the Triangle staff in 2013 and since joining has served in many roles including resource, assistant, and head coach. The majority of his time has been spent with the 14-16's age groups, although this past season he also spent time working with the 12U athletes in a resource role. For his diligence and passionate approach to coaching, Bacchi was the recipient of the 2018 Sam Casey Caram Excellence in Coaching Award. During the 2017 season, as the Head Coach of 15 Steel, he led his team to the championship of the Club Division at Capitol Hill Classic. Most recently, he served as the Head Coach for 15 Silver as well as the 16 AAU team. Bacchi has also served as an assistant coach for the JV and Varsity teams at Cardinal Gibbons High School in Raleigh. 

Originally from New York, Bacchi played on the men's club team at Vassar College, seeing time both as a Middle Blocker and an Opposite. He relocated to North Carolina to complete his Master's Degree at UNC Chapel Hill and he currently resides in Raleigh with his fiancee, Amanda, and works as a speech-language pathologist at Duke Hospital.
