Competition Venue
MAPL Raleigh 2013 will take place on 24 courts in Halls A, B, and C of the Raleigh Convention
Center in downtown Raleigh. DOORS WILL OPEN PROMPTLY AT 7 AM. Participants will not be allowed into the RCC until 7 AM.

Event Parking
Event parking is available throughout the downtown area for $7 (no in-and-out
privileges).
Spectator Admission
Admission for spectators is $3 per day or $5 for both days. Tickets can be
purchased on Friday night (March 8th) from 7-9 PM on the mezzanine level of the RCC, or Saturday and Sunday
beginning at 7 AM adjacent to the Hall B entrance. The competition venue will open at 7 AM on Saturday and Sunday.
Tournament Guides
MAPL Raleigh's official program guide will be displayed on high-tech green friendly rotating video boards throughout the tournament venue. The screens will display event information, tournament flows, and rosters for participating teams. As
information is downloaded directly from AES, Triangle is not responsible for the
accuracy of team rosters. The management of this information is the
responsibility of each participating club.
Team Check-In
All teams must check-in. Team check-in is 7-9 PM on Friday night and 7-3 PM on Saturday in Room 204. Coaches will
receive competition venue entrance credentials at team check-in. Teams will not be able to
practice on Friday night at RCC.
Tournament Sanction
MAPL Raleigh is sanctioned by USA Volleyball through the Carolina Region.
Balls, Coolers, Stadium
Chairs, Large Baggage
Coolers, stadium chairs, and large baggage are not allowed inside or outside of
the RCC (lobby, playing venue, sidewalks). Team 'camping' is prohibited by RCC.
Volleyballs and ball carts for team warm-up and competition are provided by
Molten USA and Triangle Volleyball Club. There is no need to bring additional
balls to the event.
Concessions
Concessions for MAPL Raleigh on-site at RCC are provided by Centerplate. No
outside food or drink is allowed in the competition venue.
Coaches' Hospitality
College recruiters and all team coaches at MAPL Raleigh are welcome to take
advantage of the hospitality room in the Raleigh Suite at the Marriott Downtown Raleigh, Room 323 (connected to RCC).
