Welcome!
Congratulations to Kathleen Slay, class of 2010 (Triangle 18 Black - 6'6", MB, Wakefield HS) on her selection to the USA Women's Junior National Team. Final team selections were made on July 17th. VIEW the USA Volleyball press release.
Slay was selected for the twelve-member team after spending ten days training with eighteen other other prospects at the US Olympic Training Center (OTC) in Chula Vista, CA. The team will continue to train at the OTC until departing for the NORCECA U-20 Continental Championships being held in July 22-27 in Saltillo, Mexico. The top three teams qualify for the 2008 FIVB Women’s U-20 World Championships in July 2009.
Slay is the second Triangle Volleyball Club member to be selected to a USA National Team. Megan Hodge '06, a rising junior at Penn State, was a member of both the 2004 USA Girl's Youth and the 2006 USA Women's Junior National Teams. In her two years at Penn State, Hodge has earned Big 10 Freshman of the Year, Big 10 Player of the Year, and NCAA National Championship MVP honors.

TRIANGLE TEAMS PERFORM WELL AT AAU JUNIOR NATIONALS
The AAU Junior National Championships were held over an 8-day period this June in Orlando, Florida. Ten Triangle teams competed in this event. We are pleased to announce that all teams performed well, including a T-5 finish by 15 Black in the 15 open division. 15 Black's national championship run saw Madison Bugg '12 (5-9, Setter) earn AAU All-American honors. Bugg becomes the fourth Triangle student-athlete to earn this high distinction behind Melissa DeLuca '04, Megan Hodge '06, and Christina Falcone '06.
TRIANGLE BENEFITS PRE-ECLAMPSIA
Triangle’s own, Liz Willis '08 (5-10, Setter, 18 Black), organized the first-ever fundraiser/charity walk in North Carolina for the Pre-eclampsia Foundation. Triangle families donated funds totaling over $1000, helping Liz raise a total of over $3000 to raise awareness for this life-threatening pregnancy complication.
